The Fund Accounting and Administration Oversight AVP is part SSGA's Global Funds Management (GFM) team located in Boston, MA.
We are seeking an individual with 7-10 years of experience in fund accounting and administration to join the Treasurer's Office supporting our State Street Mutual Funds and SPDR Exchange Traded Funds. The Treasurer's Office oversees all fund vendors, conduct due diligence, interfaces with internal and external service provides and is involved with all aspects of fund operations and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation of knowledge in fund operations and will have the desire to grow and expand their skillset by working directly with more senior team members and taking on increasing levels of responsibilities with exposure to vendors, auditors and fund boards. This role is located in Boston at Channel Center and follows the current 4-day in-office policy.

As Fund Accounting and Administration Oversight AVP you will:
  • Provide oversight of fund accounting and administrative services provided by an affiliate including:
  • Fund performance
  • Dividend calculations
  • Board reporting
  • Fund liquidity support
  • 1940 Act regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate annal due diligence meetings with vendors
  • Review and update procedures and controls governing our administrator service delivery
  • Work with the fund treasurer on projects and initiatives related to new products, ad hoc reports, budget analyses, board requests and other periodic reviews.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years working experience in the fund services industry.
  • BS/BA or equivalent required.
  • Strong understanding of registered investment companies (mutual funds and exchange traded funds)
  • Desire to grow professionally, including managing people

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
