The Role: Senior Product Manager, Metals & Mining
Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 11
The Location: London, Charlottesville, Boston or Denver (Hybrid working - minimum of 2 days per week in office)

The Team: The Metals & Mining Product Management team is responsible for growing our book of business across different industry segments from investment banks to mining companies to governments and academic institutions.

The team works closely with the broader groups supporting the MI commodities business, including Commercial, Research, News, Content, and Marketing. The team is a dynamic and global group with extensive experience in commercial and product management roles.

The Impact: This role is key to ensuring the successful commercialization and adoption of the metals & mining business and products, ensuring that our best-in-class solutions can drive real business impacts in the market. Our clients across all segments of the market rely on our data and products to drive the markets forward.

What's in it for you:
  • You will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project of M&M expansion which was approved recently will involve a build out of coverage across critical minerals, steel, aluminium and emissions
  • You will work with a team of individuals with a strong track record of building and commercializing the business and products
  • You will work with key internal stakeholders across the division to find opportunities for new product combinations, cross sells, and strategic projects
  • You will work with key decision makers in the industry with exposure to a huge breadth of clients and workflows
Responsibilities:
  • Gather and synthesize ideas from internal business leads, end user feedback, industry thought leaders, and competitive market research to shape platform enhancements and roadmap
  • Work on the M&M expansion from build and test to GTM
  • Identify and plan for opportunities for market development, including marketing, thought leadership, and market partnerships build out.
  • Learn and support product development efforts by engaging with the technology development teams under an Agile based project management philosophy
  • Increase market adoption through on-site visits with clients and prospects
What We're Looking For:
  • Understanding of the M&M industry or prior Product management experience, including gathering market feedback to feed into and drive product roadmap
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all audiences, including all levels of industry players as well as internal senior management
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Ability to both drive high-level strategy and execute tactically against KPIs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with varying timelines, as well as ability to work cross-functionally within an organization to drive priorities and consensus
  • Bachelor's degree
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 61,200 to $140,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
