Position Title : Fixed Income Strategist
Job Description :
Work with the team's sovereign analysts to gather, model, and analyze economic and financial data and indicators that enable the analyst to draw investment conclusions and make recommendations. Gather, manipulate, and analyze data to be used in country analysis and special projects, and expand and automate research databases. Monitor and communicate news on economic and political developments in relevant countries, and work towards independent country analysis by shadowing analysts across the various parts of the investment process, including macro forecasting, political analysis, valuation and recommendations. Identify and interpret themes, trends, and anomalies across broader coverage area. Maintain the integrity of data and analyses, and comparative tools. Position is fixed location based in Boston office, however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Job Requirements :
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a directly related quantitative field plus two (2) years of experience performing quantitative and investment analysis in a financial services or investment management field.
Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Experience presenting analytical findings, methodology, and recommendations
- Econometric modeling base knowledge applied to analyzing distressed Emerging Market economies
- Conducting relative value analysis, liquidity analysis, and risk of default analysis
- Applying and maintaining financial models, including validation, back-testing, and updates for changes in market structure
- Working with financial markets landscape, Fixed Income landscape, and credit landscape
- Programming skills including Python and MATLAB
- Using financial tools including Bloomberg
