Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and transmit accurate and timely regulatory filings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for mutual fund and ETF SEC registration statements and reporting documents, working with an internal team and in an SEC filing software tool.
- Convert regulatory documents, as applicable, into the required SEC format.
- Review inline XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate with all appropriate parties to prioritize filing projects and obtain filing approvals.
- Ensure regulatory filings comply with applicable SEC regulations.
- Distribute, track and archive filing projects.
- Assist in internal maintenance of EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system) filing codes.
- Assist as necessary in the maintenance of certain types of information in the prospectus document management system.
- Review and/or distribute finalized prospectuses, SAIs and supplement documents to the web and other channels, once filed with the SEC, accurately and on time.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of department procedures through participation in staff and workgroup meetings in order to provide quality control in the publishing and filing production process.
- Provide support to other members of the team, as needed.
- BA/BS and/or a minimum of 3+ years' of SEC filing experience with a filing agent or at a financial services company.
- Experience working in an SEC filing software tool and/or a prospectus document management system.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail and relationship-building skills are required.
- Must be flexible and be able to work effectively and independently on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest standards and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with others; exhibit strong teamwork skills.
