Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School is seeking a full-time non-tenure-track (NTT) Assistant Professor of Practice/Instructor (depending on qualifications) to join the Finance department. The position starts in September 2023 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in all or some of the following areas: investment, derivatives, and corporate finance. The position is flexible to accommodate other teaching interests.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree with specialization in Finance from an AACSB-accredited school with significant industry experience or a terminal degree is required depending on the position. Candidates with strong industry experience and network are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate teaching and course development experience at higher-ed level as well as substantial involvement in the business community that can be leveraged to develop our students’ learning and job opportunities.
THE BUSINESS SCHOOL: The Sawyer Business School offers 11 undergraduate majors under BSBA degree and 9 graduate degrees, including MBA and MSF. The school has earned three accreditations - AACSB for business and accounting, NASPAA for public administration, and CAHME for healthcare management.
