State Street Global Advisors manages and is a promoter of around 400 funds. The Global Funds Management team provides a centralized oversight program for various SSGA products and services by implementing, managing and/or overseeing the administration, tax, treasury, fund governance and regulatory reporting requirements for SSGA funds; including transfer agency and regulatory report distribution using both internal and external service providers.
The strategic objective of the role is to ensure services provided to our funds are overseen and administered by our vendors pursuant to our agreements and service levels and that payments to our intermediary partners are made timely and accurately.
This role primarily focuses on supporting our Distributor in making payments to intermediary partners under various agreements and payments to others under fund distribution and shareholder servicing plans. Regular summarizing of information and reporting for our fund boards is a critical function of the role. The successful candidate will also be involved in the intermediary oversight and due diligence process as well as taking part in ongoing regulatory mailing of reports to shareholders and overseeing several transfer agents and other external vendors services who service our funds.
The successful candidate will work within a team of individuals engaged in similar and related activities which will provide for continued learning and cross training to support a high performing group.

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

As Mutual Funds Operations, you will:
- Update and maintain procedures detailing the intermediary payment process and reporting
- Prepare monthly/quarterly Intermediary payments for 12(b)-1 and Shareholder Servicing fees
- Prepare Quarterly Board reports for Intermediary fee payments
- Prepare and send monthly/quarterly fee payments statements to Intermediary's
- Ensure fee payments are set up in fee management system as new intermediaries are onboarded.
- Assist with annual intermediary oversight activity and participate in our cross-functional working group
- Assist with shareholder mailings i.e., regulatory, year-end tax reporting, statement messaging, etc.
- Monitor Funds for disruptive trading
- Assist with large trade notifications
- Assist in monitoring daily redemption facility process
- Maintain systems connectivity with transfer agents
- Ensure timely execution of all business as usual (BAU) processes with a focus on minimizing enterprise risk
- Assist with ad hoc initiatives pertaining to services overseen or department or firm activities
- Client Service - Assist as a point of contact/liaison with internal teams and transfer agents for day to day operations
- Support related business units such as Cash Investments and SSGA Fund Distributors, Inc

- Must be proficient in Excel and MS office products
- Understanding of registered investment companies (mutual funds and exchange traded funds)
- Experience with fund expenses is desirable
