As the Senior Analyst within the Global Institutional Group (GIG)'s Business Analytics Team, you will have an opportunity to work with the various functional teams across State Street Global Advisors. You will work alongside members of the Business Analytics Team with a variety of responsibilities, including:
  • Build a variety of reports, data visualizations, and analyses to provide senior leadership with key metrics
  • Create and improve upon standard and ad-hoc reports for team leaders and the global institutional sales team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various lines of business to understand project requirements, data specifications, and data structures
  • Manage workflows to automate and improve data transformations
  • Test reports, workflows, and dashboards to ensure data is accurate and applications are functioning as expected
  • Become a subject matter expert in Salesforce reporting and data structures
  • Train colleagues and new hires on the use of Business Analytics tools and reports
  • Lead and participate in meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Salesforce team to review and validate analytics enhancements
  • Interpret (sometimes complex) requests and understanding business requirements to work with team to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Serve as a project manager for, and manage reporting on various strategic initiatives
This position requires:
  • You possess strong interpersonal and execution skills
  • You have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • You are detail oriented and have experience developing methods for ensuring data accuracy
  • You excel in a rapidly changing environment with tight deadlines, including the skill to prioritize and allocate projects and workflow to ensure timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders
  • You have effective project and process management skills that enable continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
  • You are collaborative by nature with the capability to help others achieve more
  • You have direct or related Financial Services, Asset Management and / or Sales Analytics experience
Education / technical Requirements:
  • Relevant Graduate / Post Graduate degrees with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Technical expertise / knowledge of MS Excel, Salesforce, and data visualization

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $102,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
