Role Background

We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to join the SSGA Identity and Access Management
(IAM) team. You will have the opportunity to shape our IAM Continuous Improvement Strategy and drive implementation across the platforms that support our global business.

You will be a principal member of our Identity and Access Management Team and will collaborate with State Street and SSGA's Technical teams, Integration Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Development, Audit team, Product Management, and our users to understand and assist in driving our IAM strategy to align with broader State Street Corporation modernization program. You will develop a detailed understanding of our IAM processes and controls; identify and drive solutions to improve the control environment and positively affect behavioral change in a complex financial institution as part of this team.

The candidate will ideally have experience with Identity and Access Management concepts, as well as Agile development, test development and execution and hands on experience developing and executing SQL queries. The role has a broad set of responsibilities and offers a great deal of exposure to various aspects of IAM.

Job functions
  • Work closely with Security Administration, Governance, Development and Business teams to perform data analysis, troubleshooting , application support, upgrades, and application deployment activities for the SSGA IAM platform
  • Engage with internal subject matter experts and Product Owner to understand IAM integration requirements
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with SSGA Business Development, Senior Management, Solution Architects and vendor partners to define requirements, priorities and use cases
  • Ensure that project artifacts are audit ready and compliant with Global Cyber Security (GCS) and SDLC policies/procedures
  • Data query and analytics
  • Owning the test case process from creation through execution and sign-off
  • Application monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation
  • Cover support during EST and occasional weekend testing/app check-outs as required
  • Perform analysis to meet business and audit needs
  • Assist with facilitating a collaborative solution for Development stories and ad-hoc requests

About you
  • Bachelor's degree or above and 5 plus years of experience in IT
  • Experience in Identity & Access Management domain with SailPoint or another similar platform
  • CyberArk, ForgeRock, and Active Directory experience is a plus
  • Project Management experience creating and managing project plans is a plus
  • 3+ years of SQL experience writing complex queries
  • Experience with JIRA, Excel and/or Tableau
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment
  • Previous test case creation and execution experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Able to multitask and work under high pressure deadlines
  • Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements
  • Creative, innovative and able to think outside of the box
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated & self-sufficient

$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
