Who we are looking for
State Street Global Markets is seeking a technical Sr Application Support Specialist, VP to support Global Market business applications. Reporting to the Production Management, this person will be responsible for active monitoring of trading, settlement and reporting applications. They will work directly with business and application development teams in resolving application issues.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
As Sr Application Support Analyst you will
  • Provide direct technical trading floor application support to our SSGM business partners
  • Troubleshoot/analyze and triage application and trading issues
  • Monitor application environment for issues
  • Leading small scall projects like monitoring, Automation etc
  • Assist in the maintenance and deployments of trading applications
  • Work in a 24x7 environment
  • Ability to work and co-ordinate with multiple remote teams

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Experience in financial business processes
  • 5 years in a technical role in a financial institution
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages
  • Good knowledge of Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL
  • Experience with Unix and Windows. Scripting knowledge is plus
  • Working knowledge of Middleware (MQ Series, etc.), and J2EE applications
  • Splunk and Dynatrace experience is plus

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $185,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
