Who We Are Looking For State Street Global Advisors is looking for a dynamic junior project manager with strong personal and problem solving skills who wants to be part of a major transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring a natural curiosity to learn about all aspects of SSGA's business and be able to leverage that knowledge to ensure project goals are met.

Why This Role Is Important To Us The Junior Project Manager will provide project management and problem solving expertise to support the implementation of the State Street Alpha platform within State Street Global Advisors. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all phases of this multiyear transformation project that touches all aspects of SSGA.
As Junior Project Manager, you will:
  • Create and manage project documentation and checklists
  • Resolve and escalate project and operational issues in a timely fashion
  • Effectively communicate progress and escalations
  • Interpret project needs and work to meet those needs, offer assistance and advice on standard practical issues
  • Identify, develop and deploy process improvements leading to service level improvements and/or operational risk reduction.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures, as well as provide input to further development of best practices.
  • Conduct Post Implementation Review as needed
  • Ad-hoc problem resolving
  • Interact with a large global program team
  • Ability to be firm about deadlines
  • Strong bias for action and a passionate customer focus

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in a relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years experience in leading systems implementation, program/project execution, operations and/or process improvement engagements
  • PC Skills - Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Jira and Confluence

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
