We are continuing to build our equity research platform and are seeking to hire additional publishing analysts to our equity research team. We are currently seeking a research analyst that would serve as a generalist and thus cover small-cap companies across multiple sectors. We are only seeking candidates that already have FINRA licenses 63, 86, and 87.
Responsibilities Include
§ As the senior covering analyst, provide comprehensive, sell-side equity research coverage of approximately 20 small-cap companies across multiple sectors
§ Prepare and publish thorough “initiation of coverage” reports and timely, insightful company updates on an ongoing basis
§ Build robust financial and valuation models of covered companies and keep all models relevant and up to date
§ Build and maintain strong relationships with the senior management teams of covered companies and other important research contacts
§ Perform due diligence on additional companies for research consideration
§ Market research and build strong working relationships with buy-side clients
§ Respond to inquiries from clients, sales, investment bankers, and capital markets constituents
Education, Experience and Qualifications
§ Bachelor’s degree; MBA and/or CFA a plus
§ Strong writing, communication, and financial analysis skills required
§ Minimum of two years of experience working as an Equity Research professional in either a sell-side or buy-side capacity
§ Candidate has already obtained FINRA licenses 63, 86, and 87.
§ Experience in building financial models and proficiency with accounting and financial statement analysis
