Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver of high integrity to join our growing firm as an Investment Analyst on the Investment team. This role reports to an Investment Advisor and has responsibilities on client teams and performing investment research.


Responsibilities
Essential duties of the Investment Analyst include, and are not limited to:
Client Teams:

  •  Assist Investment Advisor in designing personalized asset allocation strategy
  •  Monitor portfolios:
    •  Review & develop rebalancing and tax loss harvesting recommendations with the Investment Advisor
    •  Identify potential fee savings
  • Generate client deliverables, such as ad hoc investment exhibits outside of the core investment reports produced by Client Operations
  • Communicating (both verbally and in writing) with external clients, internal client teams, and third party affiliates regarding investment related matters
  • Assist Investment Advisor in answering client questions pertaining to investments

Investment Research:

  • Contribute to all aspects of third party investment manager due diligence process
    • Sourcing new managers
    • Populating research templates with facts, data, and content from managers
    • Scheduling and participating in manager meetings as well as compiling meeting notes in Salesforce
    • Contribute to ongoing due diligence process for A-List managers
  •  Ad hoc projects from the Director of Investments


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering top-notch client service
  • Intellectual curiosity and the drive to find “the” answer not an answer
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ prior experience in investments or financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree required Series 65 is a requirement of the job and is financially supported, as needed, by the firm
  • Proficiency in MS Office with a demonstrated aptitude for mathematics and spreadsheets is necessary
  • Experience with FactSet, Addepar, Python and Salesforce a plus
  • Progress toward CFA/CFP is a plus
