Who we are looking for
We are looking for a driven employee with a knowledge of the securities lending business to assist in processing and executing tasks related to corporate action and dividend events for State Street's Securities Finance business. The core processing occurs outside of Securities Finance, however there are daily oversight task as well as some processing that remains within the team in Boston.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Securities Lending Corporate Actions Operations Specialist, Officer you will
  • Ensure reconciliations & reports are kept current and exceptions are researched & resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist with reconciling past due dividends from external broker/dealers and promoting best practices within the business. Identify themes and root cause.
  • Communicate with other Securities Finance teams to introduce policies and procedures to minimize Corporate Action issues.
  • Track and assist in escalating borrower relationship issues; work closely with Trading to research lending related discrepancies with the borrowing broker/dealers.
  • Assist in shaping the future technology roadmap.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4 years related experience. >
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance or related field.
