We are looking for a marketing strategist to lead the Institutional Channel Marketing team. In this role, you will have responsibility for formulating the overall marketing strategy for the Institutional and DCIO (Defined Contribution Investment Only) channels and developing and executing integrated marketing plans targeting clients, prospects, and consultants throughout the buying journey. You will partner closely with business leaders to identify key segments to focus on and define our objectives. You will collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop relevant, creative, and targeted content and distribute it through various marketing channels; to evolve our digital marketing presence; and to effectively sponsor and host client events. You will leverage data to make decisions and measure results.

The ideal candidate will have a record of success leading an institutional marketing team as well as developing and implementing thoughtful ways to engage clients, and experience in the DCIO channel. We are looking for a strategic thinker and proven executor across marketing channels, who is a strong communicator and influencer, and is energized by working in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and tactics for engaging institutional and DCIO clients and prospects, with a focus on measurable outcomes. Marketing activities will center on:
    • Increasing brand awareness and engagement
    • Promoting our products and solutions
    • Enabling the distribution team in efforts to identify and engage new clients, expand consultant relationships and recommendations, and retain and increase assets with existing clients.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop, conceptualize, prioritize, design, launch and measure campaigns. Key stakeholders include Channel, Product and Thought Leadership Marketing, Creative and Content Marketing, Sales, Consultant Relations, Relationship Management, Product, Technology, Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Interactive Marketing
  • Evolve North America positioning and messaging on Responsible Investing.
  • Lead two or more Marketing Managers.
  • Collaborate in a partnership with business leaders to define objectives and provide strategic marketing guidance on achieving key priorities.
  • Communicate regularly with, listen to, and influence internal partners to build understanding of and connection to marketing strategy.
  • Leverage data and metrics and use research to continuously improve engagement and ability to target and personalize content.
  • Manage marketing budget.


Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years financial services experience, ideally within asset management industry
  • Leadership experience in institutional channel marketing


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Multi-channel marketing background
  • Digital communications/marketing tool experience and knowledge
  • Strong leadership, strategy, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perspectives effectively and with grace
  • Demonstrated success in a team-oriented environment
