Alpha team is recruiting for an exciting new role to package and sell product and business strategy aligned to the vision of our State Street Alpha Platform. The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing, describing, and selling complex business models and data flows across front, middle, and back office operating models in both an insourced and outsourced model; requirements gathering; solutioning discussions; product demonstrations and workflow/roadmap presentations; have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and specific subject matter expertise in the Performance space.

Requirements :
  • Manage Alpha platform performance sales life cycle from initial meetings/presentations to strategic planning to tactical transition to solutioning and implementation
  • Coordinate Prospect Sales and Solutioning requirements with Alpha Performance product roadmap & functionality
  • Provide input to feature roadmap for products based on business opportunities, market research, and sales solution meetings
  • Work with product management and other contributors to evaluate and prioritize opportunities and develop strategy
  • Communicate to prospects methods of aligning client rollout with new Product capabilities
  • Deliver prospect requirements to Product Teams
  • Lead prospect partner relationships
  • Create feature descriptions to provide guidance to business analysts and contribute to the product-related business requirements documents
  • Collaborate with technology to create strategies by which technology will be developed or adapted to meet prospect needs and leverage opportunities. (e.g., Buy/Build decisions)
  • Conduct and lead forward-looking prospect research studies
  • Deliver concise and meaningful sales presentations for internal and external audiences, including presentations at conferences, trade shows and key customer accounts to prospective clients
  • Act as liaison between product development, client services, technology and operations teams to support product positioning and customer demand as part of pre-sales support

Qualifications :
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience with financial service system and data integration, including order management, investment accounting, reference and market data solutions
  • Prior experience in and leadership roles with performance measurement, investment book of record, data strategy, technology transformation pre-sales and prospect demos
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting principles analysis and reporting
  • Candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently in an independent manner.
  • Candidate works well with colleagues in a team environment and is able to manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization including senior management.
  • Candidate will effectively define and implement oral, written and hybrid communication strategies to negotiate and handle complex and sensitive organizational relationships.
  • The successful candidate will be creative and innovative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to frame complex problems and develop recommended solutions while maintaining a rigorous data driven decision-making process.
  • BA/BS required, MBA or postgraduate degree a plus
