THE POSITION
The HR Technology Solutions Developer will be responsible for the development, configuration, and delivery of various technology updates and solutions as part of HR Technology roadmap to address business and HR needs. In this capacity, you will actively participate in the development of projects and follow best practices, implement new features and enhance existing processes to create a simple and engaging employee experience. The role must have hands-on experience in working with multiple technologies and platforms including Workday and/or ServiceNOW.

As, you work through the project backlog/sprints to deliver solutions in an agile framework, you will provide input and update for each solution's roadmap. This role will benefit from someone who is passionate about optimizing and designing for user or employee experience. Applicants must be able to work and adapt in a fluid and fast-paced environment. A strong level of comfort working with stakeholders and a high degree of judgment and discretion for handling sensitive data are also required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Serve as a technical expert to provide input to roadmaps and project teams on emerging and best practices for design, configuration, security, and/or user experience of HR processes through various technologies.
  • Document, design, develop, & deploy technical solutions, managing internal stakeholders and vendor communications.
  • Document current development projects, challenge the status quo, and look across functions for ways to automate and reduce manual work.
  • Partner with various HR teams and other internal stakeholders to understand business problem and needs, to then help define business requirements, design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy workday capabilities both from the backlog and current projects list.
  • Suggest incorporation of new solutions, features, or products that can help enhance development solutions without significant project scope changes.
  • Understand how platforms sit within the broader HR technology architecture and connect the dots when working on any new implementation/project. Educate extended teams on both upstream and downstream system changes impact.
  • Work with the Workday & ServiceNOW platforms, supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance, and expeditious resolution for high impact issues. Proactively anticipate issues on projects and provide a perspective to leaders/teams for how to deliver practical solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a systems analyst or developer role supporting Corporate HR applications, possessing a strong understanding of HR core business processes.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, supporting HR technology applications like Service-Now HRSD, Workday, LMS, Qualtrics, Degreed etc.
  • Should have knowledge and experience in configuring/developing in Service-Now HRSD and/or Workday HCM and integrations.
  • Knowledge of XML/XSLT, APIs, Web services, JSON formats and Java scripting will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday Extend, Prism, Workday studio, IDE for app development will be a plus.
  • Experience in UI/EX designing, prototyping will be a plus.
  • Broad HR business and technology experience and awareness of current and future industry trends.
  • Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Comfortable with fast changing environment with an ability to adapt as needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, taking initiative and/or lead role as necessary
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and social/EQ skills, with the ability to clearly communicate across all levels
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities is required as is professional maturity regarding handling of confidential information.
