We are looking for a US based Product Specialist in our Responsible Investment team, advancing our global Responsible Investment and reo® franchise, working closely with clients and multiple internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Manage, as a responsible investment expert, a small number of existing high profile North American reo® clients
- Grow and evolve our reo® business.
- Create and articulate our Responsible value proposition, capabilities, and promote our thought leadership
- Manage large RFPs so they delivered within the deadline and at a high quality
- Promote BMO GAM's leadership in responsible investment
- Present as a Responsible Investment expert externally and internally. Participate in relevant conferences, seminars, and round tables on responsible investing
- Create and update presentation materials and insights to strengthen our thought leadership and innovation, and service our clients at the highest level.
- Help improve the reo® client experience, for example advancing portfolio analytics reports and the client portal. Lead client webinars, annual site visits, client participation in engagements, and client consultations.
- Ensure prospect and client materials, including reporting, is of the highest possible standard
- Work in close collaboration with the rest of the Responsible Investment team and with other key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in responsible investment, engagement, and voting
- Strong understanding of ESG issues and the broader responsible investment industry
- Understanding of asset management.
- Proven experience in as well as client-facing roles
- Excellent written verbal and communication skills
- Understanding of using ESG data and producing ESG client reports
- An ability to work autonomously when required, but as part of a broader team, with a strong sense of collaboration. We have a large global RI team based in the US.
- Confident in presenting to large audiences on ESG issues
- Attention to detail is essential, as is someone who thrives on producing high-quality work
- Ability to effectively manage priorities
- Strong influencer, but with an ability to listen to and take onboard ideas of others to get to better outcomes
- Strong analytical skills
