Ready to launch your career? The Columbia Threadneedle Investments intern program is designed to provide students with first-hand investment management experience. You will contribute to the management of the large cap value equity portfolio working directly with the portfolio management team.
About the Columbia Threadneedle Internship Program:
This unique summer intern program provides real-life experience in a collaborative and inclusive environment. As a Columbia Threadneedle intern, you will gain exposure to leaders, cultivate your business knowledge, work on projects that directly impact the business, and network in a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
  • Work directly with the LCV PM in all aspects of the investment process including stock screening and selection, portfolio construction, risk monitoring and assessment, attribution analysis and trading decision making.
  • Participate in fundamental research process drawing upon the resources of our research analysts, primary and secondary research sources and interacting directly with portfolio company management teams.
  • Become knowledgeable in investments systems such as Bloomberg and Blackrock solutions.
  • Learn and understand the Columbia Threadneedle's proprietary quantitative research process and our rapidly developing responsible investment research effort.


Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and aptitude for solving complex problems
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets
