Who we are looking for

We are looking for an Project Manager, Assistant Vice President, who is experiences in delivering a portfolio of projects, transformation and change initiatives, with effective prioritization, and risk and delivery status reporting. The candidate will help us drive forward delivery across regions and teams working in a matrix or indirect environment. Candidates must have proven experience in sound program management, change implementation and governance practices within the Banking and/or Financial Services industry. They will partner across stakeholder groups to ensure program delivery and embedding of change, inclusive of regulatory requirements. Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of delivery within State Street and/or in other organizations in an effective, efficient, sustainable and audit-proof manner. In this role you will report directly to the Integration Corporate Audit Workstream Lead.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Project Manager, Assistant Vice President you will
  • Deliver on project and change initiatives in accordance with relevant policies and frameworks - through close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, globally and across the business where dependencies occur.
  • Support delivery of transformation and integration plan with a robust and reliable project and change framework, traceability and governance.
  • Support the implementation in alignment with the methodology and practices deployed by the central implementation management office.
  • Develop, maintain and deliver against a strategic integration plan
  • Partner with all relevant corporate functions, businesses and stakeholder to ensure effectiveness of delivery and transparency of activities, project-related plans, and expectations management.
  • Support a governance structure in place which incorporates management metrics that will stimulate discussion, prompt informed decisions with regards to opportunities or risks to the integration.
  • Implement processes to ensure appropriate post-delivery assurance, traceability of decisions and actions
  • Work proactively to ensure communication of changes are made effectively and repeatedly to all stakeholder groups and senior management.
  • Develop, validate and ensure the priority, and efficiency of the program implementations across region.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of successful experience in Program Management, Change Delivery, and Governance Practices, ideally in financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success as a Program and Change Delivery Manager in global initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Financial Services project experience, and preferably with operational process implementation abilities.
