Who we are looking for

The Data Product Analyst, Assistant Vice President, will have a reporting relationship to the Vice President of Data for Alternatives Product. The Data Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the design and execution of data driven strategic business initiatives across the Alternatives Investment Solutions we are open to have this role based on Boston / Dublin/ Toronto within the global footprint of the organization and potentially be location agnostic for the right candidate.

What you will be responsible for

As a Data Product Analyst (Alternatives), Assistant Vice President you will
  • Support new Data thought leadership and strategy for Institutional Services clients.
  • Support effective interactions between product teams, operations teams, segment teams, IT teams and corporate functions.
  • Execute an effective product management governance framework for data product portfolio ensuring appropriate planning, coordination, and product effectiveness assessments.
  • Understand the market, competitive forces and client direction, and make related product recommendations, to ensure the strength and competitive positioning of the cash product portfolio.
  • Instill a culture and environment of risk excellence.
  • Oversee all phases of the project life cycle, from initiation to completion
  • Ensure that project scope and requirements and mandates are fully scoped out and documented, including coordinating project scope control
  • Analyze solutions to determine what is technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable
  • Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
  • Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
  • Build processes for implementing data and methodology evolutions
  • Provide standardized data views from product and lead the development and implementation of new and enhanced reports/dashboards/API's considered complex in nature

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL development, data modeling, metadata management and data quality

Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and an advanced degree in Business Administration or other related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in roles including strategic planning and product management.
