Who we are looking for
Enterprise Data Governance is a global team of experts focused on ensuring the data used in our firm is governed effectively. This role focuses on supporting the Global Delivery teams as they execute on data governance activities such as catalog maintenance, lineage tracing and quality controls.

You will be an expert in completing Data Steward activities such as compiling definitions and documenting lineage for Global Delivery applications. Oversight of internal data quality execution, ability to summarize results of data quality exception lifecycle to identify thematic trends and highlight additional quality checks for implementation and acting as a Data Management subject matter expert for the firm will be the focus of your day.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As a Data Steward AVP you will:
  • Have a strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts, principles and practices including Database Structures, Enterprise Data Catalogs, and Operational Data Quality
  • Have an excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Be able to understand data models, data taxonomy, and data quality industry best practices
  • Understand the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and Standards
  • Be able to articulate business requirements and bring them to fruition
  • Interact with business SMEs and Data Stewards of Varying Levels of Seniority While Communicating Clearly and Concisely
  • As a bonus be proficient in writing SQL queries, Visualization/Business Intelligence tools (i.e. Oracle, Tableau)

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BA and/or 5 years of relevant experience in a data-related field
  • Understanding of the EDM Council DCAM model
