Who we are looking for
As a Data Steward Lead supporting Global Delivery you will be responsible for working with the Business Unit core teams, Data Stewards, Analysts, IT and Enterprise Data Governance & Management to ensure high levels of data quality, integrity, privacy, availability, security and usability and adherence to Corporate policies and procedures.

What you will be responsible for
As a Data Steward Lead for Global Delivery you will
  • Drive Data Governance activities across Global Delivery, including understanding accountability, policy compliance and data quality issue tracking and resolution
  • Support the day-to-day stewardship to drive data-decision making processes and facilitate discussions to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements
  • Guide the business unit Data Stewards to solutions for information sourcing, provisioning, consumption, standardization and reporting & analytics.
  • Drive resolution of data information and processing challenges that have an adverse impact on the operational environment and/or business performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate them into the data strategy.
  • Lead projects involving upstream and downstream data flows and processes to ensure compliance with data governance policy.
  • Create reporting around data governance progress for key stakeholders and management and conduct as-needed alignment meetings on strategic data-driven initiatives
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of Data Governance and Management practices through internal Data Governance course completion and Certified Data Steward (CDS) accreditation where appropriate

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of Financial Services Industry is required
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts, principles and practices
  • BA/BS Computer Science / Business / MIS (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education); Masters a plus
  • Proven understanding of global environment
