The Associate Data Scientist develops analytics using a wide range of data sources to directly help the research, portfolio construction and trading processes across a range of different investment teams and shares responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of these processes. This will be done under the mentorship of senior members of the team.
If you are not located close to a physical office, remote work is considered for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Business Leaders to generate data insights that support investment decisions
- Partner with Data Scientists to build data transformation pipelines and data visualization tools
- Assist with analytical model development, deployment, and validation
Required Qualifications
- Strong quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, R, SQL)
- Experience working with large datasets to create data visualizations and build data transformations
- Shown intellectual curiosity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud computing and its application to data sciences
- Understanding of software engineering practices, including writing maintainable code and version control
