We are looking for a hands-on senior full-stack (Java back-end and Web UI / React technologies on the front end) developer to be part of a small development team working on a world class FX trading platform

What you will be responsible for
As Application Development / Maintenance, Assistant Vice President you will
- Responsible for development and maintenance of the FX Connect trading system
- Demonstrated experience with Java multi-threading
- Demonstrated experience with Java messaging brokers, either JMS-based brokers or Kafka / Solace
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- 5+ years' web UI development experience with at least 3+ years of financial industry experience.
- Excellent knowledge of core Web UI technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
- Demonstrated experience with expert-level knowledge working with React.js, TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and the related technology stack.
- Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Nest, GraphQL.
- Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of JavaScript-based unit testing frameworks such Jest, Enzyme, React testing library.
- A passion for building meaningful visualizations on the web.
- A strong sense of craftsmanship.
- Screenshots of past work or an online portfolio is highly desirable.
- Backend experience with Java / JEE and Oracle would be a plus
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
