The ATS team seeks an experienced Vice President level Transformation Management Lead to drive transformational consistency across SSGA Global Trading, and Investment Oversight.

As Application Transformation Lead, you will:
  • Lead the design, development and maintain low latency, high performance electronic trading platform components, with a focus on client connectivity, order state management and risk controls
  • Proven experience to drive product development and provide technical leadership
  • Lead initiative to improve latency, scalability and resiliency of the product.
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary.
  • Is primary point of contact for clients related to the product. Responsible for business case, priority of product requirements, feasibility and scope.
  • Develop and implement a transformational program utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks
  • Ensure seamless execution of organizational transformation related activities across the application support organization by applying methodologies, communication planning, training solutions, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses
  • Ensure partnership across the application teams to ensure the teams are engaged and requirements are included

What you will be responsible for
  • As the Transformational Management Lead you will:
  • Identify stakeholder groups, determine change impacts and assess their readiness for transformation
  • Ensure key stakeholders share a common vision and visibly support the initiatives
  • Drive the execution of roadmap and strategic direction for product or product suite.
  • Create executive level reporting and presentations for business reviews
  • Create and manage detailed project plans and reporting
  • Coordinate and track the project deliverables
  • Manage the demand queue of priority programs, assessing and reprioritizing the work that needs to move ahead
  • Act as tollgate for new projects
  • Reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated
  • Work with process managers to fully understand business pain points, and areas of improvements

These skills will help you succeed in this role
  • 12-15 years of total work experience investment advisor preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, finance or similar discipline required
  • Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms
  • Prior experience with FIX protocol is a plus
  • Prior experience in equities/Market Technologies will be a plus
  • Project management expertise in planning and tracking, resolving competing priorities
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strategic and solution driven thinker
  • Strong interpersonal skills to developing effective relationships
  • Excellent ability to collaborate across a variety of stakeholders and drive performance
  • Experience working with large diverse teams and ability to influence and engage
  • Highly organized and comfortable holding teams accountable
  • Experience developing communications and training materials
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to analyze data and drive actionable insights from data sets
