This position is part of the Real Money FX Sales team and will have primary responsibility to distribute a diverse range of products to highly sophisticated institutional asset managers and owners. What you will be responsible for
As Foreign Exchange, AVP you will
  • As a sales person you will be responsible to provide timely market information to clients and help pitch products like algorithmic and quantitative trading solutions
  • You will be assigned a portfolio of clients as well as a sales territory, your task will be to expand our wallet share with existing clients and identify and develop new trading relationships in your assigned region. Travel is required.
  • The sales team may accompany relationship managers in order to win new business from existing clients
  • It is imperative you take initiative to execute against a sales plan and achieve your sales performance goals
  • Work closely with market traders to execute spot and forward FX transactions.
  • Collaborate with operations, legal, risk and relationship management to align opportunities with corporate goals.
  • Leverage technology and data to drive effective business growth.
  • Develop and maintain a network of industry personnel, represent State Street at relevant industry events and conferences
  • Undergraduate degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience required, Master's Degree or CFA preferred
  • Be fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies, and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree required; Master's degree or CFA preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in FX or related markets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of FX products and market structure, ideally undergoing additional market courses or education
  • Proven track record of customer service orientation and effective presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment under high pressure
  • Creativity, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn continuously
  • Strong numeracy
  • Proven high ethical standard
