The incumbent will be part of the Wealth Management Investment Group and will manage all the fixed income research studies. Partners with the CIO of the investment area in developing the overall research strategy and industry/security coverage. Conducts research for the most profitable strategies and supervises analysts in the credit analyst team. Analyses may focus on individual securities, classes of securities, or the development of quantitative decision-making models. Will develop and maintain information on credit ratings of corporate, agency, municipal, state, and/or federal fixed-income issuers. Demonstrates seasoned and proven judgment in the field of securities and consistently delivers strong performance and drives alpha. Drives research activity for multiple industries for a major investment area. Partners with the CIO of the investment area in developing the overall research program and industry/security coverage. Responsible for due diligence of buy/sell/hold recommendations of the credit analyst team. Conducts research for the most profitable strategies and supervises analysts. Analyses may focus on individual securities, classes of securities, or the development of quantitative decision-making models. Makes buy/sell recommendations. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages the investment research of a significant amount of assets and revenue with a supervised team. Responsible for research leveraged to produce strong investment management performance and drive alpha. Ensures team is equipped to provide the depth, insight, and analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA and/or CFA preferred. 10+ years of total work experience preferred and over 8 years of investment experience preferred. Demonstrated financial acumen and financial modeling skills.
