Basic Purpose:

Support EVD Sales and Sales Management by compiling and analyzing Eaton Vance product information and competitive investment industry data. Provide detailed Eaton Vance firm and investment strategy information including performance and characteristics to Global Relationship Managers, Sales Management and Retail, Institutional and International channels, as appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly and quarterly deliverables in a timely fashion including Monthly Market Monitor as well as keep outstanding analytics requests to a minimum.
• Analyze and interpret product data using a range of approaches. Make informed decisions and knowledgeable recommendations based on the analytics.
• Effectively manage analytic projects involving complex research often with competing deadlines. Includes using analytic systems and information sources for data-mining, analysis and interpretation.
• Coordinate with retail, institutional and international teams to ensure limited redundancies and accuracy in reporting across all channels.
• Serve as an expert in numerous analytical tools and their respective capabilities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in an asset management firm.
• Strong analytical, investment and quantitative capabilities, with exceptional project management skills. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Can successfully work independently within tight time constraints and deadlines. Must be diligent, proactive and resourceful.
• Exemplary written and verbal communications. Skilled at being precise, thorough and detail oriented.
• Strong initiative, energetic work habits and dedication to job.
• Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to interact effectively within a team and be comfortable navigating at senior levels of the company.
• Knowledge of Zephyr Style Advisor, Morningstar and eVestment.
• Bachelors degree required. Pursuit of MBA and/or CFA preferred.
