Income Research + Management seeks an individual to join our Investment Team as a Credit Research Associate.  This individual will report to a Credit Team Senior Research Analyst.

  • Perform analysis of quantitative and qualitative factors impacting current and potential high grade fixed income investments across sectors
  • Routinely present fundamental and relative value findings to members of the Credit Team
  • Attend industry conferences as needed
  • Meet with senior management of companies in assigned sectors
  • Speak with credit rating agencies, Wall Street analysts, and other third party research providers
  • Build financial models to stress cash flows and recovery assumptions
  • Work on other ad hoc projects not directly related to credit research as required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-4 years of financial markets or research experience
  • Knowledge of the fixed income market and corporate financial statements
  • Ability to perform financial reporting and analysis
  • Flexibility to juggle multiple priorities and projects for different end users
  • Strong excel skills
  • Ability to work and thrive on a trading desk

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have, or be willing to work towards, the CFA designation
  • Prior Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) experience or coursework preferred
