Securities Trader/Portfolio Management Associate

Crestwood Advisors is a fast-growing wealth management firm that is selectively seeking a Securities Trader/Portfolio Management Associate to join our energetic team. Crestwood Advisors is an independent, fee-only registered investment advisor that provides clients with comprehensive wealth & investment management solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Implement equity execution strategies via trading platforms for settlement across multiple custodians in collaboration with portfolio management team
• Manage daily data upload from portfolio management system to portfolio rebalancing system through trade-order management systems
• Manage suite of model portfolios used to guide portfolio decisions within trade rebalancing system
• Provide portfolio managers with trading and investment support as appropriate. Oversee trading for subset of client portfolios
• Contribute to bond strategies implemented in client portfolios and analyze relative opportunities among investment grade fixed income asset classes in order to buy and sell bonds accordingly
• Maintain and enhance relationships with brokerage community and manage order flow
• Communication of current equity/bond market conditions and trade information to portfolio management team and broader firm
• Evaluate prospective client portfolios to highlight investment opportunities
• Contribute to periodic market updates suitable for use with client presentations
• Ensure all aspects of trading are compliant as it pertains to our policies and procedures (i.e. best execution etc.)

Requirements:
• 2-4 years relevant experience with emphasis on investment grade bonds and individual equities
• Experience with electronic trading platforms and portfolio management systems (i.e. RedBlack, Black Diamond, etc.)
• Ability to work in collaborative, team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree required

This position requires someone technically proficient and able to interact across an array of technology platforms/systems to ensure data and trading accuracy across client portfolios.
